Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
Drop 1 tablespoon of cookie batter on to the baking sheet. Leave 2" between each cookie dough ball. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cookies are golden on the edges.Remove from the oven and use the back of 1 teasponn to make an indent in the center of each cookie while they're still hot.
Use a metal spatula to scoop each cookie on to a wire rack to cool completely.
Melt the chocolate in 20 second increments in the microwave.
Add a small dollop of chocolate to the indent in the middle of each cookie. Place the round chocolate ball in the center.
add two dots of melted chocolate to the back of candy eyeballs. Press them onto the chocolate ball. You may have to hold htem in place for a few seconds to set.
Add the melted chocolate to a small plastic bag and seal tightly. Snip a tiny piece off of one corner. Squeeze the chocoalte out of the small hole and draw four lines on each side of the round chocoalte ball to look like spider legs.
Recipe Notes:
You can use any kind of cookie recipe you want. I used refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough bought from the grocery store to save time.
