1 ½lbsbrussels sprouts - washed and sliced lengthwise
6strips of bacon - uncooked and sliced into bite size pieces
4minced garlic cloves
3Tbspolive oil
3Tbspmaple syrup
½tspsalt - preferably sea salt
½tspground black pepper
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Wash and slice the stems off the brussels sprouts. Slice them lengthwise. Chop the raw bacon into bite-size pieces.
Add the olive oil, maple syrup, minced garlic, salt and pepper to a large bowl. Mix everything together.Next, add in the brussels sprouts and chopped bacon pieces. Toss with the dressing until evenly coated.
Spread the brussels sprouts mixture onto a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until edges are crispy and golden brown. Toss everything halfway through baking with a spatula.
