Add your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
Recipe Notes:
For the first batch of hot dogs, check them after 6 minutes. Every air fryer is a bit different and may cook hotter, faster or slower. You can use these times as a guide, but it’s always important to do a check when you’re cooking something new in your air fryer and following a recipe.
Only cook as many hot dogs that will fit in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If you stack them on top of each other, you won’t get the crispy results.
You can preheat the air fryer for more even cooking. Although, it’s not always necessary.
Some people enjoy cutting slits on the top of the hot dog. These can get slightly crispy and can help to hold the toppings ingredients better.
