Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spread butter on 4 slices of bread and toast on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment for 5 minutes.
Heat a large skillet and cook 8 eggs by scrambling or frying until just set.
Layer 1 slice of ham on each toast, spoon on the eggs, and top with 1 slice of cheese.
Broil for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Serve warm.
