10 oz salmon fillet
salt and pepper - to season salmon
4 minced garlic cloves
3 Tbsp honey
¼ lemon juice
2 Tbsp olive oil

How To Make Honey Garlic Salmon

STEP 1: In a small bowl, mix together 3 Tbsp honey, ¼ cup lemon juice, 2 Tbsp olive oil, and 4 minced garlic cloves. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then set aside.

STEP 2: Generously season the 10 oz salmon fillet with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat a frying pan with a little cooking oil over high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the salmon skin side down and sear for 2-3 minutes.

STEP 3: Lower the heat to medium-low, flip the salmon so it’s skin side up, and pour the honey garlic sauce over it. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the salmon is flaky and opaque. Remove from heat and scoop the delicious sauce over the top of the salmon before serving.

Recipe Tips

Keep an eye on the salmon while it cooks. It’s at its best when it’s just flaky and opaque—overcooking can make it dry!
As soon as the salmon is done, remove it from the pan to stop the cooking process.
Serve the salmon with some veggies and rice, and don’t forget to drizzle extra sauce on both for added flavor!

How To Store Leftovers

REFRIGERATE – Store in an airtight container for 3-4 days.
REHEAT – This can be reheated in the microwave, frying pan on low heat or oven at 350°F for about 10 minutes, or until it’s heated through.
