Ready to switch up your morning routine into something healthier? Then you have to try this tropical green smoothie bowl recipe! It’s full of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals and will give you lots of energy for an incredible day.
What I LOVE about smoothie bowls are that they feel like you’re eating cereal, but without the processed ingredients and refined sugar. You can load your smoothie bowl up with healthy toppings like nuts and seeds, homemade granola, berries, and shredded coconut. Then you grab a spoon and eat like you would with normal cereal.
If you’re used to eating cereal in the morning – or your kids are – I would highly encourage you to try this more nutritious option. Your body will thank you!
- 1 cup milk or water
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- Add all your ingredients to a blender until smooth. Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings like berries, granola, coconut, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, and bananas. Serve immediately. To eat, use a spoon and scoop the same way you would eat cereal.
