Hey, I'm Andi!
I’m a home cook, wife, mom, and the creator behind this space. I live in beautiful Alberta, Canada, right near the stunning Rocky Mountains (can’t beat those views!).
My journey to food blogging wasn’t a straight line. I actually have a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and spent over 6 years running an online handmade bag business. But after having my daughter and struggling with my own eating habits, I was craving a change. That’s when I decided to dive into health and wellness and earned my certification as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. Although I don't consider myself a health coach, I do use so many things I learned from that program to this day!
I created AndiAnne.com in 2020 as a place for busy families to find quick, simple recipes and time-saving cooking tips. Over time, the blog has grown to include all kinds of meals—whether you're looking for one-pot dishes, 30-minute meals, or budget-friendly options, there’s something for everyone!
When I first started this blog, I was a stay-at-home mom on a tight budget, struggling to create healthy, affordable meals for my family. After completing my health coaching program, I began sharing the tips and recipes that helped me along the way. Fast forward to today, AndiAnne.com now receives over 500,000 monthly visitors, and I’m beyond grateful to share new recipes with you each week.

Fun Facts About Me:
- When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at home (I’m definitely a homebody!), hanging out with my daughter, my husband, and our adorable Bernedoodle, Panda—or I'm curled up with a cup of tea and a good book.
- Avocado toast? It’s my go-to meal, and I could honestly eat it for every meal if I could! But if there’s cake around? Forget it—I’ve got zero self-control when it comes to baked goods. That’s why I try to give away at least half of whatever I bake for the blog... otherwise, I’d eat it all!
- This past year, I picked up pottery again—something I started in art college ages ago. It’s been such an amazing creative outlet! I’ve spent hours at the pottery studio making everything from bowls to plant pots, mugs, and ornaments.
- I’ve always been a thrifter. There’s just something special about finding unique home goods, vintage sweaters, and cookbooks at thrift stores. Honestly, they’re the best place to score kitchen essentials—everything from slow cookers and food processors to bowls, utensils, and cutting boards in our kitchen are secondhand finds!
- I’m obsessed with records! We have a record player that belonged to my husband’s parents, and it’s on daily rotation in our house. Some of my all-time favorite albums are from Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA, and 1960s Cher records (seriously, they’re amazing!).
