Recipe Tips

  • Bake your fruit pizza at 350°F to get a lightly browned crust, but watch closely to prevent burning. Baking times usually range from 12 to 16 minutes, so monitor your oven accordingly.
  • Wait until the crust has cooled completely before spreading the frosting on top. To speed this up place it in the fridge to help chill faster.
  • Strawberries, grapes, mangos, blueberries, and kiwi are all popular choices. Other options include bananas, cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and canned mandarin orange sections. Pat the fresh fruit dry with a paper towel before decorating to remove any excess moisture.
  • Frozen fruits will not work for this recipe! They can be watery and mushy, so stick to fresh fruit.
  • To avoid lumps in the cream cheese icing, sift the powdered sugar into a bowl before mixing it with the cream cheese.

How to Store Leftovers

Refrigerate – Place the fruit pizza in an airtight container or cover it tightly with plastic wrap. You can store the leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Remember that the crust may soften over time due to the moisture from the fruit and frosting.
