Full ingredients and instructions are also in the recipe card at the bottom of this blog post.
STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a medium bowl, mix together ¼ cup honey, ¼ cup dijon mustard, 1 Tbsp whole grain mustard, 1 Tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp ground black pepper.
STEP 2: Place 8 chicken thighs in a baking dish. Pour the honey mustard sauce over top. Use a silicone brush to spread the sauce evenly over top of the chicken.
STEP 3: Place the chicken in the oven to bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches 165°F internally when poked with a meat thermometer.
- Turn the oven to broil in the last 2 minutes if you want to crispen up the skin a bit.
- You can spoon the honey mustard overtop of the chicken halfway through baking.
STEP 4: Once baked let cool 10 minutes before using a spatula to transfer to plates to serve.
How To Store Leftovers
- Refrigerate – Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container or in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
- To Reheat – Add chicken back to the oven at 375°F until warmed through or heat in the microwave.
