- Fresh-squeezed orange juice adds brighter flavor, but bottled works too
- Don’t skip the rest time—this helps the flavors blend together
- This dressing can also be used as a grilled chicken marinade
- Shake before serving—ingredients naturally separate in the fridge
Variations and Substitutions
- Swap honey for maple syrup to make it vegan
- Add a pinch of cayenne for a spicy kick
- Use basil or cilantro instead of mint for a different twist
- Replace lime juice with lemon juice if that’s what you have
How to Store Leftovers
- Fridge: Store in a sealed jar or bottle for up to 1 week
- Shake well before each use—it will naturally separate
- Not recommended for freezing
FAQs
You’ll need a blender or food processor to break down the kiwi—this one isn’t great for hand-whisking.
It’s a little of both—sweet from the fruit and honey, but balanced with citrus and vinegar.
This dressing works great with light salads like Kale Quinoa Chickpea Salad, Garden Salad with Herb Dressing, or one of my Six Mason Jar Salad Recipes. You can also drizzle it over Steak Salad for a fresh, citrusy finish.
