How To Make The Parmesan Ground Pork Quiche
The filling is cooked in a frying pan then added to a pie shell and baked in the oven. Here’s a quick overview with the full detailed instructions in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
- Cook onion and brown the ground pork in a frying pan. Stir in flour, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Add milk, bell pepper and half the parmesan. Remove from heat.
- Beat eggs in a large bowl, add in the ground pork mixture.
- Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese and half of the parmesan into the bottom of the pie crust. Pour the ground pork mixture on top. Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese.
- Bake until edges are golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Let cool, then slice and serve.
Leftover quiche can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days. The quiche can be reheated in the microwave or back in the oven.
This quiche can also be prepped ahead of time and frozen for a future meal. Just add straight to the oven (while still frozen) and bake until warmed through.
